Nau mai, haere mai! 

Kia ora koutou, Ko Johnny tōku ingoa, director here at Manaaki Finance. I am a proud dad of two very energetic boys, a loving husband to Bex, a homeowner, and a business owner with a passion for helping people plan for their financial future.

After a decade of experience in both commercial and community spaces, I realized I could use my skills and passion in more practical ways. A few years later, I earned my Level 5 Financial Services qualification and started Manaaki Finance with the support of the Insurance Supermarket group.

This relationship gives me the independence to run my own business and serve my clients, while benefiting from the knowledge and support of a larger network. It helps me offer a more well-rounded service to my valued clients.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I'm also passionate about giving back to the community, having coached junior rugby for several years and volunteer with our local community breakfast program. Recently, I've also taken up triathlons, which I love for the training and discipline they bring.

As an everyday Kiwi, I'm here to provide relatable, personalized financial advice on Personal Insurance and KiwiSaver across New Zealand.
